God answers prayer in His own way,

…sometimes before we even pray.

He speaks His love like wings on high,

and listens to the faintest cry.

His mercy reaches far and wide

to those who welcome Him inside.

To those who hear the Master’s call

and give their hearts, He gives His ALL.

In that moment when life goes wrong,

when pain and sorrow steal my song,

when it’s too much for me to bear,

that’s when I see Him …standing there.

When I am just about to cry,

“Dear God, please help me, or I’ll die!”,

and tears are falling like the rain,

then His hands open for my pain.

“Come, now, to Me and take your rest,

and I’ll provide, for I know best.

I’ll bear your load, for I am strong,

But, child, why did you wait so long?”
